This Hate Needs To STOP

It seems like every time you turn on the tv lately there is something negative to report. Here lately it is the Baltimore issue which has cause even more people to turn against law enforcement. Why? Today we live in a world that is full of hate. In America it is hate against the white male cop. We as a society have judged all 100% of law enforcement based on the 1% of cops who are in the wrong.

Matthew 5:9 says "Blessed are the Peacemakers for they will be children of God." This is a verse that a lot of law enforcement live by or hear in their line of work. They risk their lives to keep you safe. Here lately, they risk their lives to keep you safe who don't care and bash law enforcement. Yes, there are some law enforcement out there that break policy and do things that they should not, but we should not judge the other 99 % that do their job right.

When I first started dating my husband, I had no idea of just what it meant for him to put on that uniform and go to work. The public has no idea how risky their job can be at times. They risk everything. They have to walk into unknown situations, face people who want to kill themselves and others, walk in on a person beating another, go to a robbery at gunpoint and the list could go on. They do all these things to keep our society safe. Who do we call when someone takes our stuff, breaks in our house and causes our children not to sleep in peace at night, or when someone is threatening you or your family? That's right you call the police.  You call husbands, wives, daddy's, mommy's, or someone's family member and they walk right into these situations so they can help YOU! We as a society need to make a change! We need to appreciate our law enforcement and how they help us.  We as parents need to set an example for our children that what is happening right now is wrong.  We need to teach our children that all people make mistakes and not everyone is racist. We need to be an example to our children because they are the future and they are watching how we act.

I choose to walk the blue line not because I am married to a deputy, but because I support our law enforcement and I am thankful for their service....will you?
